WHOLENESS CLINICAL EDUCATION

In the healthcare professions, students often receive both academic and clinical training. Clinical training prepares them to attend to the specific needs in their fields, but may not teach them how to attend to emotional and spiritual if in one type of field or to physical wellness needs if they are in another. The best kind of clinical experience is one that teaches the student how to do whole person care, or to consider all aspects of the person’s life.
