A Vision statement outlines what you or your organization wants to be, or how you want the world in which it operates to be. Vision defines the broader goal for being in existence and can remain the same for decades if crafted well. The statement should concentrate on the future and serve as a source of inspiration. It should also provide clear decision-making criteria relevant to all personal or organizational objectives.
For example, the Vision of Loma Linda University is, “Transforming lives through education, healthcare, and research.”
